I don't know why I set these goals -- Lenormand everyday? Sure, no problem. I have rituals I do every day, because I've built them into the morning. Drawing a rune or a card, reading I-Ching, or now, pulling two Lenormand cards are part of the morning. I see them, take note of the content (ominous or auspicious), and go on with my day. It's the recording them here that might not happen.
Yesterday, my cards were auspicious. As it turned out, we were down to a few dollars and no one paying us. Getting these cards told me something would turn up and it did, in the form of a check from a renter who decided to pay on time (unlike the other deadbeats we deal with).
So, we got a bit of groceries and a few candles, had a coffee and tea at the lovely Wild Bean coffeehouse in the most pretentious small town in America (Lewisburg, WV), and came home.
Yesterday was also new moon. At new moon, I toss the bones to read on one subject or another. This time, it was for prosperity. My husband's token lay between the two auspicious markers, but on one side, surrounding one child, was two troubles. This formed a triangle with the stone of luck, and so, showed that with effort, the troubles could be overcome. The reading is more difficult to record than to know. There were subtleties I don't wish to go into at this time and in this space.
The day before yesterday, I read I-Ching (along with the Lenormand cards). I got MAKER, hexagram 2 -- basically, it says to keep plodding along in the direction you're going, with the patience of the Mare, not worrying the outcome, not looking behind you, and not as if you are in charge. Allow. I'm sure it was better spoken in the Book Of Changes, but that's the gist of it.
All that being said, I might not get here every day to record the morning cards, but I will draw them every morning. And I will continue doing readings for others along the way. I've still to purchase or make a deck of Lenomand cards beyond these crude paying cards etched with Lenormand numbers. That, too, will come.
